Housefull 5 Achieves Major Box Office Milestone

In an impressive feat, Housefull 5 has crossed the Rs 200 crore threshold within merely eight days of its release in theaters. As reported by the film's producers, the comedy has garnered a total of Rs 212.76 crore globally, with Rs 140.18 crore net coming from Indian cinemas alone.

The film debuted on June 6 and recorded a net collection of Rs 6.60 crore in India and Rs 2.35 crore internationally on its second Friday.

With a robust opening day, the movie earned Rs 24.35 crore net in India and Rs 11.11 crore overseas. According to alternative reports, the film's net earnings in India stand at Rs 133.25 crore, with a worldwide total of Rs 204 crore, solidifying its position among the top-grossing Indian films of the year.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Housefull 5 is performing exceptionally well at the box office. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Abhishek Bachchan in leading roles, alongside Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Dino Morea, Chunky Pandey, and Johnny Lever in significant roles. The female leads include Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangada Singh, Sonam Bajwa, and Soundarya Sharma.

The filmmakers have created two distinct versions of Housefull 5, each featuring different endings. In the narrative, Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff portray police officers investigating a series of mysterious murders aboard a ship. In version ‘A’, Abhishek Bachchan's character, Jalbhushan, is revealed to be the murderer alongside Fardeen Khan's character, Dev. Conversely, in the alternate version, Chitrangada Singh's character, Maya, is unveiled as the killer in collaboration with Jalbhushan. The plot twist reveals that characters pretending to be Jolly are impostors, with Bobby Deol making a cameo as the genuine Jolly.
