How to Clean Copper Utensils in Rainy Season: The rainy season not only brings freshness and cool, but also brings many problems like damping, moisture and rust, especially for copper utensils. Copper utensils are still used in many homes, but in this season these utensils start to turn black, spotted and faded quickly.
The cleaners found in the market may be effective, but the chemicals present in them can be harmful to your health and environment, especially when it is about the utensils in which food or water is kept.
Today we will tell you some grandmother-grandmother tried home remedies, which are safe and effective.
How to Clean Copper Utensils in Rainy Season
Take half a lemon and sprinkle a little salt on it. Then rub the pot well with the same lemon. After a few minutes wash it with lukewarm water. This method is the most popular and effective for removing rust and blackness from copper utensils.
Mix a little white vinegar in a spoonful of baking soda (take care, can become foam).
Apply this paste on the pot and leave it for 10 minutes. Then rub it with scrubber and wash it.
This remedy also helps in returning the glow of utensils.
Take a little tamarind pulp and soak it in water and apply it on the pot. Leave for 5–10 minutes and then clean it with a scrubber.
Tamarind’s sourness is effective in removing the layer of frozen oxide on copper.
Take a small amount of tomato juice or ketchup and rub it on the stained area. Wash after 5 minutes.
This is an emergency remedy when you do not have anything available.
