Children’s Day is not just for children, it is a beautiful reminder for everyone to keep their inner child alive. On this special day full of laughter, innocence and memories, Sun Neo’s talented actors Megha Rai, Gauri Shelgaonkar and Anandita Sahu shared many special stories while cherishing the fond memories of their childhood.

Megha Ray, playing the role of Divya in the show ‘Divya Prem: Story of Love and Mystery’, says, “My mother used to make Children’s Day special every year. Sometimes a small gift, sometimes food of my choice, or something handmade, her love was reflected in everything. The excitement of that day in school was different – no uniform, colorful clothes, games, songs and lots of happiness! Even today, those memories bring a smile on my face. This year, Sun While shooting for ‘Divya Prem: A Story of Love and Mystery’ on Neo, we are planning to celebrate Children’s Day with the children present on the set and relive that happiness.”

Anandita Sahu, playing the character of Satya in the show ‘Satya Sachi’, recalls her childhood and says, “Children’s Day takes me back to my carefree childhood, which was running barefoot in the rain, climbing guava trees and rolling with laughter in the village grounds! Those days were full of innocence and mischief. Even today, I keep that child within me alive – sometimes by eating ice cream, sometimes by watching the setting sun.” This time I will bring old-time toffees, chocolates and snacks to the sets of ‘Satya Sachi’, so that we can all relive those sweet childhood memories.”

Gauri Shelgaonkar, who plays the role of Ghevar in ‘Pratshaon Ki Ode Chunari: Bindani’, smiles as she says, “Children’s Day was always one of the most fun days of the year! Even going to school that day was fun because there was no studying – just games, songs, and lots of fun. The teachers were also very sweet that day – no scolding, no homework, just lots of fun! Those little joys make childhood so special.” She used to cook beautiful things. This time we will relive that childhood happiness by cutting the cake on the sets of ‘Prathastha Ki Odhe Chunari: Bindani’.”
