PM Farmer:A big news has come for the farmers across the country. Various rumors were spreading on social media for the last few days regarding the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) scheme. Farmers were becoming quite confused due to a lot of wrong information being circulated.

Now the Central Government itself has completely banned these rumors by issuing an important notice on its official website. In this notice, the government has clearly stated who is eligible under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) scheme and the names of which farmers have been temporarily removed.

Why were the names of lakhs of farmers removed?

The government said that many farmers did not apply properly as per the rules of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) Scheme. Some people were taking benefits of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) scheme despite being ineligible.

The shocking investigation revealed that in many families, husband, wife and even minor children were taking money from Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) by making separate applications, whereas the rule is that only one member of a family should get the benefit. Apart from this, farmers who have purchased land after February 1, 2019, should also not get the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) Scheme.

Eligible farmers will get another chance

The government also made it clear in its notice that physical verification of the farmers whose names have been removed from the beneficiary list will be done. After this investigation, if any farmer is found eligible, his name will again be added to the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) list. But the farmers who are really ineligible will not be able to avail the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) Scheme in future.

This step of the government has been taken to increase transparency and to extend the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) to the real farmers. With this, fake or ineligible people will not be able to take advantage of government money.

What is the update on the 21st installment?

At present, the Central Government has not released the 21st installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) Scheme. No official date has been announced yet. It is believed that a decision on this can be taken after the Bihar Assembly election results (November 14).
