Raipur : 37-year-old Dinesh Patre was suffering from severe pain in both the hips for the last two years. Dinesh, a resident of village Akhrar of Lormi development block of Mungeli district, as his disease progressed, his ability to walk gradually decreased and for the last six months he was completely unable to walk. Due to the increasing pain and helpless condition, his daily activities were also getting affected. The family took him to the district hospital for treatment, where a detailed examination was conducted by the medical team. Investigation found that both hip joints of Dinesh were seriously damaged, due to which he needed immediate surgery.

Civil Surgeon cum Chief Medical Officer Dr. M.K. Under the direction of Rai, orthopedic specialist Dr. Bhupendra Singh Tandon of the district hospital and anesthesiologist Dr. Rajesh Beldar successfully operated on Dinesh. Dinesh’s condition showed remarkable improvement after this complex surgery. According to the hospital management, Dinesh is now healthy after the operation and has slowly started walking. Doctors said that with regular physiotherapy and precautions, the patient will soon be able to lead a normal life. The family has expressed gratitude to the medical team of the district hospital for the treatment and care.
