The festival of Akshaya Tritiya is considered very auspicious and virtuous in Hinduism. On this day, by worshiping Maa Lakshmi, people wish for happiness and prosperity in their house. According to tradition, it is considered auspicious to offer special enjoyment to the mother on this day. In which dishes made from rice have a special place.

Make kheer on Akshaya Tritiya


Kheer is considered to be the favorite bhog of Goddess Lakshmi and it has special significance on auspicious festival like Akshaya Tritiya. Rice pudding is considered a symbol of auspiciousness along with sweetness.


Material


1 liter milk


1/2 cup basmati rice


1/2 cup sugar


4-5 cashews, almonds, raisins


1/4 tsp cardamom powder


Saffron threads


Recipe


First soak the rice for 30 minutes. Boil milk in a deep pot and add soaked rice to it. Keep stirring continuously on low flame until the rice is completely cooked and the milk becomes thick. Now add sugar, dry fruits, cardamom powder and saffron and cook for 5-7 minutes. In both cold or hot, consume Kheer in the form of Prasad by offering Kheer to Maa Lakshmi.


How to make delicious register


The registrar is the traditional dessert of North India which is specially prepared as offerings in worship. It contains a combination of ghee, dry fruits and flour which is good for both taste and health.


Material


1 cup wheat flour


1/2 cup desi ghee


1/2 cup boora (or ground sugar)


2 tablespoon makhane


2 tablespoons almonds, cashews


1/2 tsp cardamom powder


Recipe


Heat ghee in the pan and add flour to it and fry it on low flame till it becomes golden. Now add makhana and chopped dry fruits to it and fry for 2-3 minutes. Cold the mixture by closing the gas and then add boora and cardamom powder. Now use this registrar for indulgence. It is not only delicious but also healthy.


How to make saffron rice


Sweet and colorful dishes have special significance on Akshaya Tritiya. In such a situation, saffron rice is also an excellent enjoyment to please Maa Lakshmi. In this, the aroma and sweetness of saffron together make it special.


Material


1 cup basmati rice


1/2 cup sugar


2 tablespoons desi ghee


5-6 saffron threads


4-5 almonds, raisins, cashews


1/4 tsp cardamom powder


Recipe


Wash the rice and soak it for 20 minutes. Now heat ghee in a pan and fry dry fruits lightly. Then add rice to it and fry for some time and add saffron mixed hot water or milk. Now cover and let rice cook on low heat. When the rice is cooked, add sugar and cardamom powder and keep it covered for 5 minutes. This will dissolve sugar and saffron rice will be prepared.
