HPSC PGT Recruitment 2025: Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has resumed the application process for the recruitment of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) in Computer Science subject. Interested and eligible candidates can fill the form through the official website of the commission, hpsc.gov.in, till 5 pm on May 2, 2025. This recruitment was stuck for a long time and now the process of finalizing it is being expedited.

This recruitment drive of the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) is aimed at filling 1711 vacancies. Out of these, 1633 posts are for Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) in Computer Science subject for the Haryana cadre, while 78 posts are reserved for the Mewat cadre.

Why re-application window open?

Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has resumed the PGT Computer Science recruitment released in 2023. Due to the judicial process related to reservation and recruitment rules, now the advertisement has been issued again and applications have been sought. Candidates who have already applied do not need to fill out the form again.

It has been clarified in the new advertisement of Haryana PGT Computer Science Recruitment that only those candidates will be eligible in the selection process who have qualifications recognized by NCTE. At the same time, it will be mandatory for the candidates of Scheduled Caste category who have applied earlier to update their category (OSC/DSC) and upload the certificate.

According to the instructions issued by HPSC, candidates who have not uploaded their application form correctly earlier or have filled wrong details, will have to cancel their old application and re-apply by paying the fee for the new application form. This step ensures that all the candidates provide correct and complete details.

Eligibility Criteria

Earlier only B.Tech / B.E. degree holders were considered eligible for Haryana PGT Computer Science government job recruitment. But now according to the new educational qualification, it has also been made mandatory for the candidates to have done B.Ed. Along with this, candidates must have completed a B.Ed course with an M.Sc degree in Computer Science (with minimum 55% marks) or BE/BTech degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/IT.

Additionally, candidates must have studied Hindi or Sanskrit subjects in the 10th class, or Hindi subjects in the 12th/BA/MA, this is also a necessary condition. Also, it is mandatory to pass Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) or School Teacher Eligibility Test (STET). Interested candidates can now apply as the link to the application form has been activated on the official website.

First of all you go to the official website hpsc.gov.in.

Now go to the advertisement tab on the homepage.

After this, click on the PGT registration link.

Now register and proceed with the application process

Fill in the required details, upload documents, and submit the form.

Finally, take a printout of the application form for future reference.
