New Delhi: Fashion Designer Nitya Bajaj recently mesmerised the audience at the Bombay Times Fashion Week by unveiling her latest collection, ‘Ajrakh Ki Rani’. This collection reimagines the craft of Ajrakh in a stunning new palette and design, making it more appealing and trend-worthy for the season. The showstopper for the show was Mouni Roy, exuding charm and elegance on the runway while wearing the Royal Ajrakh attire designed by Nitya Bajaj.

The showstopper and actress Mouni Roy was seen beautifully carrying a black Ajrakh fish cut lehenga saree, with bold golden sequins and zari embroidery adding perfect charm and elegance to the overall fit. The elhenga saree was paired with a bejewelled blouse featuring intricate patterns of jhumi detailing all over it. The outfit perfectly balanced traditions with the touch of modern flair and boldness.

A tribute to Ajrakh’s rich textile heritage from Kutch, Gujarat, Ajrakh Ki Rani introduces a never-seen-before palette of Fuchsia, Hot Pink, Ruby, Wine, Aubergine, Violet, and Plum, crafted using natural Madder root dye. This groundbreaking collection fuses traditions with modern silhouettes, offering an exquisite array of lehengas, anarkalis, sarees, shararas, jackets, and menswear, including kurtas and sherwani jackets—all adorned with beautiful Ajrakh prints.

Mouni Roy shares her secret to glass skin, she drinks a lot of water to keep herself hydrated from within, which helps with the natural glow on the skin.
