The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has unveiled the final vacancy list for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2025, revealing a total of 15,130 job openings across various central government ministries and departments.
This updated list was made public on March 6, 2026, detailing available positions in Group B and Group C categories. These roles are distributed among key government departments such as the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Defence, and Ministry of Home Affairs.

Following closely is the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC), which has 1,306 openings for the Inspector (Central Excise) position.
Additionally, the Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA) under the Ministry of Defence has announced 1,174 vacancies for the Auditor role.

For several Group C positions, including Tax Assistant, Auditor, and Upper Division Clerk, the age limit is typically 18 to 27 years.
Candidates can apply for the Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) position up to the age of 32 years, which is one of the few roles with a higher age limit.
Age relaxation is available for candidates from reserved categories as per government regulations.
