Puttur: A car sped away after colliding with seven vehicles at Santyar on the Mani-Mysore National Highway on Thursday evening, March 12.

The accident resulted in damage to six motorcycles and one car. After the collision, the vehicle fled toward the Panaje road. Local residents suspect that a minor might have been driving the car and expressed concerns that the driver may have been under the influence of cannabis (ganja).
