Vaibhav Sooryavanshi delivered an outstanding performance, scoring 175 runs off just 80 balls, while captain Ayush Mhatre contributed 53 runs. India set a formidable total of 411/9 in their 50 overs, and despite England's efforts, they were bowled out for 311 in 40.2 overs.
Earlier this month, India secured the Men's T20 World Cup 2026 title by defeating New Zealand by 96 runs in the final match. Batting first, India amassed a total of 255/5, with Sanju Samson scoring 89 runs off 46 balls and Ishan Kishan adding 54 runs off 25 balls. In response, New Zealand was bowled out for 159 runs in just 19 overs, with Jasprit Bumrah taking 4 wickets for 15 runs and Axar Patel contributing with 3 wickets for 27 runs.
