Prince Harry may struggle to reunite with his father as several members of the Royal Family do not trust him, it has been claimed. Prince Harry is reportedly hoping that King Charles will invite him, along with Meghan Markle and their two children, to visit Sandringham this summer as part of efforts to mend their fractured relationship. TalkTV presenter Kevin O'Sullivan sees this as Harry putting the ball in King Charles' court, however, noted that trust remains low amongst the Duke of Sussex and other members of the Royal Family.

He said: "I don't think they want to be around Harry because they don't trust him or Meghan in terms of what may or may not be said and in terms of what is said ending up in the media. That's why he's not invited, right? Royal editor Robert Jobson suggested if Harry picked up his phone "instead of using his PR man to stick the story out there" then it is more likely that he would be able to rebuild his relationship with his father.

The broadcaster continued: "If you're going to conduct your business through the media in the way that he does, then why should anybody close to the king, of the king himself, actually feel any belief that this guy's going to be trustworthy?

"All he's doing is trying to create the story to put the ball in his father's court."

He believes that King Charles would no doubt want to see his grandchildren, Archie, six and Lilibet, four, but it is Meghan that he would prefer to avoid.

He added: "At the end of the day, I'm sure as a grandfather, he'd like to see his grandkids but I'm not sure they particularly want to see Meghan and some of them won't want to see Harry after what he wrote about them in Spare and that's what it boils down to. They don't trust him."

Meghan is set to join Harry on a visit to the UK to attend the one-year countdown event for the 2027 Invictus Games in early July.

The couple, who now reside in Montecito, California, have not made a joint visit to the UK since September 2022.

Although Harry has made numerous visits, Meghan has made the decision to not return to Britain since Queen Elizabeth's funeral in 2022.

Harry previously stated that he fears for his family's safety in the UK as the couple no longer have police protection since stepping down from their role as working royals.

His taxpayer-funded protection could be reinstated after a review taking place this year, however, a decision is yet to be made.
