Tiger Woods nodded off in the rear of the police vehicle after the 15-time major champion was arrested on suspicion of a DUI. Woods was implicated in a two-vehicle rollover collision after he struck the rear of a trailer in Jupiter, Florida. The 82-time PGA Tour champion was discovered with hydrocodone in his possession and kneeling beside the highway after leaving his Land Rover with allegedly no injuries.

Following a field sobriety test, Woods was subsequently placed under arrest and led to the rear of a police vehicle, where he moved his head several times after being instructed not to. He was positioned in the back of a car with a sheet covering his head, and was observed yawning in the rear seat before falling asleep.

In the rear seat of the police vehicle, Woods appeared sweaty and distressed after listing a series of pain medications he had consumed that day. "I looked down at my phone... and all of a sudden, boom," said Woods immediately following the car accident as a queue of cars blocked the road.

Officers present said Woods was 'sweating profusely' while they questioned him at the scene. They also said they discovered two hydrocodone painkiller tablets in Woods' possession at his time of arrest, according to the arrest affidavit.

The arresting officer alleged Woods' eyes were 'bloodshot and glassy' as he completed a range of sobriety tests at the crash site. As Woods kneeled on the ground, the police officer put on black plastic gloves before ensuring the golf legend wasn't seriously injured.

"Is this comfortable for you?" enquired the officer with gloves on, touching Woods' back and legs as he sat on the ground, possibly taking into account his recent back surgery and slow recovery.

"Yeah, yeah," Woods responded. "All set, I'm cool. Yeah, I'm cool."

Woods remained composed and courteous throughout his interaction with officers at the scene, allowing them to examine him to check for any injuries.

Once they were satisfied that he was unharmed, Woods asked: "All set?" The other driver involved in the incident was attempting to turn into a driveway on the right side of the road.

"He kept coming," the other driver stated. "I was getting ready to turn in. I don't think he was looking that's the thing. I'm fine, he hit the trailer. I don't even know if I can drive it out of here."
