Raghav Chadha, a member of the Rajya Sabha, is under scrutiny for allegedly prioritizing trivial matters like the price of samosas over significant democratic issues, as raised by his own party, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). On Friday, he released a new video compilation of his interventions in Parliament, which led to a flood of memes on social media platform X. Some users mocked him for addressing what they deemed minor issues, while others hailed him as a hero for the middle class.

Posted shortly after 5 PM on April 3, the video marks Chadha's third response since being removed from his position as the Deputy Leader of AAP in the Rajya Sabha. Titled 'My Two Minutes,' the 2-minute and 40-second video was shared without any accompanying text, except for an emoji of the Indian national flag. It features Chadha entering Parliament in slow motion and speaking on various topics.

In one of the initial clips, he stated, "I am not ashamed to say that we pay taxes in India like in England, but receive services akin to those in Somalia." Another significant moment was when he advocated for the 'Right to Recall.' The compilation included excerpts from his speeches addressing issues such as the lack of income growth relative to rising inflation in India, the need for deregulation in the aviation sector, and a call for a reevaluation of taxation systems.

Notably, he also raised issues pertinent to Punjab, the state governed by AAP and his constituency. Earlier that day, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann criticized him for not addressing relevant issues. Chadha's latest video compilation featured his thoughts on the cancer train running from Bathinda in Punjab to Bikaner in Rajasthan, as well as concerns regarding water quality and availability in Punjab.

Additionally, he included a segment in his speech calling for the Bharat Ratna award for freedom fighter Bhagat Singh. In a previous video, he had also mentioned the alleged blame placed on farmers for pollution, among other topics.
