In a disturbing incident in Agra, a young man met a tragic fate at the hands of his girlfriend and her mother. The couple conspired to murder him, strangling him before disposing of his body by setting it ablaze in a car. Following the revelation of this heinous crime, law enforcement apprehended the girlfriend and her mother, leading to their incarceration.

The suspects, Dolly, the daughter of a history-sheeter named Avadhesh Yadav, and her mother, Bhuri Devi, were arrested on Thursday. Investigations revealed that on the night of the wedding on the 25th, they lured Pushpendra Yadav, a transport businessman from Kasganj, to their home. Amidst the wedding festivities, they seized the opportunity to kill him without anyone noticing due to the noise. After the relatives departed late at night, they attempted to transport the body to Rajasthan but ended up burning it in the car.

SSP Shailesh Kumar Pandey stated that the police acted on a tip-off and arrested Bhuri Devi and Dolly near Raipurajaat. During questioning, Bhuri Devi disclosed that Pushpendra had developed a close relationship with her husband, Avadhesh, and had previously manipulated Dolly into a relationship, which led to legal troubles for Pushpendra. He was pressuring Dolly for a marriage agreement, which prompted the family to plot his murder.

Bhuri Devi explained that they had arranged a marriage for Dolly in Rajasthan, but Pushpendra's interference threatened to ruin it. Consequently, a conspiracy was hatched involving Avadhesh, his brother Rajesh, and Rajesh's son Gautam to eliminate Pushpendra. On the day of the wedding, while Pushpendra was intoxicated, they executed their plan and subsequently disposed of his body by burning it in the car.

Refinery CO Shweta Verma noted that the accused had premeditated the murder, intending to disguise it as an accident. The police team involved in the arrests included Inspector Kamlesh Singh and several officers. Efforts are ongoing to locate the remaining suspects, Avadhesh, Gautam, and Rajesh, who are currently at large.
