Ambedkar Nagar: A grand celebration of the 135th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was organized at the Public Welfare Institute BPS ITI Sehra Jalalpur campus. All the guests present at the organized program were welcomed by organization president Vinod Singh by presenting them with garlands and mementos. The program was formally started by all the guests by garlanding and offering flowers to the portraits of Mother Saraswati and Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. Dilip Kumar Tiwari, Vice President, District Irrigation Bandhu, who was the chief guest of the event, threw light on the personality and work of Ambedkar and talked about taking inspiration from his life. Mr. Tiwari gifted garlands and corsets to the five senior citizens present in the program along with the organization’s president Vinod Singh. Kisan Morcha Vice President Rajmani Singh, who was presiding over the function, said that Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was a great advocate of education. He laid special emphasis on lifelong education. Shri Singh distributed prizes to 7 ITI students who passed the essay competition on the life of Dr. Ambedkar.

Former District President BJP Kisan Morcha Omprakash Upadhyay, who was the special guest of the function, told the people present in detail about the life of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and also distributed the picture of Dr. Ambedkar. The program was conducted by Basic Education Council Principal Dukh Haran Prajapati and the cultural program was done by Mahendra Singer and his colleagues.

Hundreds of people including Jaiprakash Singh, Ashok Kumar, Mahavir Singh, Parshuram Singh, Shashikant Singh, Meena Devi, Rekha Singh, Poonam Yadav, Rammilan Vanvasi and Ayodhya Prasad were present in the said program.
