The house of Chanel is known to have the most epic fashion shows, and of course, this time was no exception. Overseen by creative director Virginie Viard, Chanel's Cruise collection unfolded in the picturesque city of Marseille, France. The architectural marvel now repurposed as an arts center, served as a fitting backdrop for the vibrant showcase.

As per the luxury house, the collection imagined by Virginie Viard combines an underwater reverie with reflections of the sun through embroideries, diving hoods, sequinned jackets and swimwear. Here's a deep dive into the TOP TRENDS that we spotted at the peppy Cruise show!

Gone are the days when chunky shoes and sky-high heels would rule runways. While Chanel is known for its understated and sophisticated looks anyway, this time the show was majorly dominated by neutral flats that are practical and won't overshadow your Summer ensemble.

Maxi and mini dresses may be having a moment on the streets, but Chanel loves their minis and we are definitely onboard. The show had a number of peppy and tweed mini dress/skirt looks that scream nothing but SUMMER.

These are not just any cardigans...these are cool cardigans. Bold and beautiful, the Cruise show had a number of fun crochet cardigans thrown in the mix, with all of them rocking a bold Summer colour.

Here, a striped sleeveless mini tunic is paired with a crochet cropped cardigan and a necklace with playful sea-life charms. This brings us to the fact that even crochet made for a major portion of the entire collection!

When you think about Summer, you immediately think of all the pinks and yellows in your closet. While, the Chanel show did have its share of colourful moments, a large chunk of the collection was focused on white.
