Bengaluru: Here comes a good news for the residents of Bengaluru and Ernakulam. The railway authorities have revealed that the much-anticipated Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express train will commence its journey from Ernakulam in Kochi to Bengaluru right after the end of Lok Sabha election constraints. The start of the much-anticipated Vande Bharat Express train between Kochi and Bengaluru will be a major convenience boost for the people of the region including the daily commuters.
With the successful electrification of the pit line at Ernakulam Marshalling Yard the Ernakulam Junction railway station (ERS) will gain the capacity to host more express trains. This electrification completed as per the instructions of the railway on the 30th of April was part of the preparation to have the yards across the country ready for the arrival of the Vande Bharat Express trains.

Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express: Expected Timetable
According to the Mathrubhumi report the train will depart from Ernakulam at 5 AM and reach Bengaluru at 1:35 PM. In its return journey the Ernakulam-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express train will depart from Bengaluru at 2:05 PM and reach Ernakulam at 10:45 PM.

In its journey this Vande Bharat will stop at stations like Thrissur Palakkad Coimbatore Erode and Salem.

Last month in April the third Vande Bharat Express an eight-coach train made its unprecedented arrival in Kerala and resided in Kollam for an extended period. The reason behind the delay was  a predicament concerning the completion of the electrical setup in the Ernakulam marshalling yards pit line. Moreover rumors have circulated concerning lagging progress in building the yards drainage systems as per a report by The Hindu.
