QS World University Rankings 2025 is released! As per the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings, MIT has again secured 1st position followed by Imperial College, London and University of Oxford at second and third position. This year, IIT Bombay has moved up from 149th to 118th rank.



Last year, IIT Bombay was placed at 149th rank and this year has moved 31 places to rank 118th globally. Since its participation, this is the first time IIT Bombay is placed among the top 150 in QS world university rankings



IIT Bombay has an overall score of 56.3 and IIT Delhi which is placed at 150th rank has an overall score of 56.2. IISc Bangalore, IT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, IIT Guwahati among the other IITs are placed at 211th, 222nd, 227th, 263rd, 335th and 334th rank respectively. University of Delhi is placed at 328th rank and Anna University at 383rd rank.

University of California, Berkeley is placed at 12th rank and has an overall score of 90.1. MIT has maintained its reign at the top for the 13th consecutive year. Imperial College jumped four places to take second place. United States is the most represented country with 197 ranked institutions.
